San Diego Branch - Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research
The San Diego Branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Ltd is located at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and affiliated with the UCSD Medical School and the Moore UCSD Cancer Center. The Branch is directed by Webster Cavenee, PhD. The seven groups at the San Diego Branch focus mainly on cancer genetics, cell signaling, gene regulation and mechanisms of cell division. The Branch has made important achievements investigating the processes that cells use to maintain the integrity of their genome, and how failure in these processes can lead to cancer.
